Who the W:three is for
The W:three is a versatile gravel wheelset designed for riders who want a reliable, high-performance setup for long days on mixed terrain.
The rim
Built around a 30 mm internal width rim, the W:three provides excellent tyre support for the wider tyres commonly used on gravel and bike-packing bikes. The result is a wheel that offers improved stability, grip and comfort across everything from fast gravel racing to rough backcountry routes.
Laser-engraved
Each rim is laser-engraved with a unique wheelset number and spoke lengths, making it easier to track, service, and replace parts when needed - so you can keep riding without hassle for years to come.

The hubs
- Dial hubs are light weight, reliable, and easy to maintain
The spokes and nipples
- The Alpina Extralite Round, produced in Italy, is a double-butted spoke measuring 2.0mm at the head and thread, tapering to 1.7mm in the center. Alpina’s unique two-stage cold-forming process strengthens the spoke head significantly, making it up to 30% more durable than other brands. This results in a spoke that better withstands high-tension loads, improving longevity and reliability in demanding riding conditions.
- We use Sapim Polyax Secure Lock nipples, produced in Belgium, for their durability and reliability. These corrosion-resistant nipples ensure long-term performance and make re-truing easy, even after years of riding. The Polyax head features a ball shape that improves alignment inside the rim, reducing stress at critical points and minimizing the risk of spoke breakage.

Wheelset Weights
- A W:three rim is 479g
- Wheelset weight gets complicated on custom wheels as different brake rotor mounts, hub widths, and freehub bodies all weigh different amounts.
- If you need a weight for a specific freehub body combination get in touch
No Swaps on the W:three
- We're unable to make component swaps in the W:series wheels. By purchasing components in bulk, streamlining our assembly process, and building wheels during downtime, we're able to keep costs down on this range.
- If you need something different, check out our OG range. Every W:series wheelset is still built to our exacting standards — no compromise on build quality.
